Anna Young is a New York City based musician and educator. As a songwriter and band leader, Anna has been performing primarily as a bassist and percussionist for 10+ years, and teaching for 7. Anna draws inspiration from a wide variety of artists, which is evident in her genre crossing music. Anna holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Ithaca College and a Master of Arts in Music and Music Education from Teachers College at Columbia University.
